Horizon Europe 2026–27 Work Programmes: Draft amendments published

The European Commission has published a draft amendment to the Horizon Europe 2026–2027 “Horizontal Activities” work programme on the Comitology Register.

The draft confirms the calls concerning the Clean Industrial Deal, AI in Science and RAISE Doctoral Networks for AI in Science and introduces new cross-cutting calls, notably:

- Nature (biodiversity): ~€229 million, 11 topics on ecosystem restoration, biodiversity monitoring, PFAS impacts, decline of invertebrates

- Bridging Actions: ~€193 million, 14 topics supporting innovation uptake, climate resilience solutions, and preparation for the post-2027 framework programme

The submission deadlines are expected in 2027.

These drafts are not yet final and may evolve before formal adoption (currently expected in September 2026).
